Buffer Method

The carpet cleaning buffer method, also known as the "bonnet cleaning" method, is a surface cleaning technique that uses a rotating buffer or bonnet machine to clean carpets.

Extraction Method

Krystal Clean Restoration's carpet cleaning extraction method is a deep cleaning process that uses a solution to thoroughly clean carpets.

Buffer Method

  1. Pre-treatment: Apply a cleaning solution to the carpet to loosen dirt and stains.

  2. Buffering: Use a buffer machine with a rotating bonnet (a circular pad) to agitate the cleaning solution and work it into the carpet fibers.

  3. Absorption: The bonnet absorbs the dirt and cleaning solution, removing surface dirt and grime.

  4. Rinsing (optional): If necessary, a clean water rinse may be applied to the carpet to remove any remaining soil or cleaning solution.

  5. Drying: Use air movers or fans to speed up the drying process, as the carpet should be damp but not soaked.
